Our Founder
Former federal and state prosecutor Rena Paul brings two decades of private and public sector experience in complex investigations, litigation and appellate work. After serving as a sex crimes prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, Rena founded the firm to support individuals, families and businesses with sensitive personal and business matters.
Rena’s practice combines a sharp strategic eye with a compassionate and humanistic approach. As an entrepreneur who has founded multiple businesses, Rena marries sophisticated legal strategy with strong business sensibility. Her extensive experience with sexual misconduct and child safety matters is an asset to clients and fellow attorneys.
An accomplished writer and speaker, Rena co-authored a trauma-informed and prosecutor well-being curriculum for the Institute for Innovation in Prosecution and has trained lawyers nationally on trauma-informed lawyering and attorney well-being. Rena is regular trial commentator on Law&Crime network, and a founding member of Beyond #MeToo: A Working Group on Corporate Governance, Compliance and Risk and TIX IRL: A Collective of Title IX Experts Living the Regulations.
Rena received her JD cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and a BA from Emory University.
